About two years ago, I wrote for Medium my first two polemics with other writers' articles here. At that time, I did not see any other polemics. In my writings, comments, and feedback to Medium leadership on every occasion possible, I advocated for the revitalization of polemics.

I see it happening. Now, almost every day, I find polemics on Medium. When writers converse, readers benefit. It is one of the most valuable changes on Medium.

The next step is for Medium to include a broad spectrum of ideas in a conversation, not only those that matter to the Medium leadership. It is the only way for discussions to matter.
