Ad. 1. You are very gentle in implying that disagreeing with the majority of scientists is not wise.

Ad. 2. I read the reports. This reminds me of point 1, as it implies that I did not do my readings on the subject I write. I ask for your personal two sentences because it could be that you found there something important that I missed. Your answer indicates that you support the climate change agenda not because you genuinely understand it but because you believe others who told you so. You do not own it. You are a follower.

Ad. 3. I did not read the book you recommend. But if there was anything exceptional in this old book, most likely it bounced around hundreds on articles I have read. I checked reviews; it appears to me that Mr. Monbiot is one of those intellectuals who never managed even a hot-dog stand but felt anointed to propose grandiose socio-economical schemes on how to save our civilization.

Ad. 4. This your suggestion proves to me that you did not read my essay. The world we have is much better than our ancestors had not because grandiose government programs, but precisely because governments stayed aside when free people pushed civilization forward.
