As far as I know, no one questions that Earth’s temperature is changing. The secondary questions are about the pace of these changes and the accuracy of the measurements.

The not fully answered are scientific questions about what are the primary and which are the secondary causes.

The political questions are what we should do about it.

If you read my article, you would notice that my biggest issue is that climate scientists play experts in economics and politics. If you read those documents carefully, they are not about climate but about taking climate change as an excuse to finance extravagant public projects.

The key point of Professor Giaever speech is that science ends and religious doctrine begins when we make incontrovertible scientific findings. I am not aware of the incidents of his flops. But as I wrote before, I look for reasonable arguments. If you never said something stupid, you are the only one on Earth.

I live in the Chicago area; hence, I attended meetings at the Heartland Institute. They even invite me once to speak: https://youtu.be/wOedOhNJD04. Again, if you read my articles, you would know that money behind the profligate public projects are a few levels of magnitude bigger than those that the fossil fuel industry can spend. And as far as I know, the Heartland Institute pays petty money to its advisors.
