You miss the big picture. Our immigration law is so intrusive that it restricts Americans' freedom to pursue their happiness the way they want it. In that sense, it is un-American. The civil disobedience in disrespecting the ban of hiring immigrants not having permission to work is common. We would need to turn every American into a snitch to execute this law. Our immigration law can only be enforced in the Soviet-style totalitarian system. Republicans who ask for enforcing that law have no appetite for the Soviet-style tyranny. Oh, except the extreme Trump supporters.
