The well-being of people in poor countries tremendously improved thanks to economic cooperation. The famine is now mostly due to corruption and political abuse.

But I agree, it is not perfect. The perfection is in heaven. People are like everywhere else. If you yearn for a society of saints, go to heaven. The small shortcoming is that one needs to die first. Not to mention that there are doubts if heaven exists.
