Corinne, I am sorry to break it to you; it is a political pamphlet. To your excuse, the level of political education in the United States is very low. Many pundits in the mainstream media do not produce anything better. I suspect that you wrote a creative compilation of the gibberish of others.
It would help if you started with understanding the meaning of the terms you use, knowing that many other writers also misuse these terms. Then you have to ask yourself about known differences between political systems, both existing now and in the past. Next, you must realize that none of the political systems is perfect because we are not perfect. Lastly, you should notice that some political systems work better than others, and you need to pinpoint what makes them better.
After you go through this process, you will regret that you published your text.
I know all of that because when I started writing, I was in your shoes.
You can learn a few things by reading my texts, as most are about politics and media. In my responses to other comments, I provide links to two of my articles. You might consider going further than that.
Good luck.
