Dear Mr. President, I respectfully disagree. After the dust settled, the Affordable Care Act boils down to expanding Medicaid.

For me, as a hard-working citizen who does not expect the government to subsidize me, it meant becoming uninsured. I could afford health insurance before ACA, but the price increase outpriced me out of the system after that.

Also, to last, any major law needs bi-partisan support. Using the razor-thin majority to pass ACA undermined that fundamental rule of our Republic. Democrats lost a lot of credibility because of that. You might disagree, but in my not so humble opinion, your success in passing ACA is why we had Trump as your successor.
