All suggestions aim at a specific section of the general population, people full of self-confidence issues who seek cheap self-assurance without work.

For a more mature audience, these kinds of headlines sound like sleazy ads of used car salesmen. Intellectually aspiring people find these kinds of headlines offensive.

One can say that this is a way to attract more readers. It could be because we have more losers than doers or because a given publication attracts that kind of audience. It is much harder to attract readers expecting much more.
