Doomsday predictions are always risky.
Let me refer to experiences from my native Poland. In the 1970s, we felt the economic collapse coming. We used to say that it could not be worse because if it could, it would have been. Then we were surprised by new calamities.
But, when most people were self-satisfying themselves with catastrophic visions, I was among the few who saw the great opportunities for advancement in the dire situation. Surprisingly, the worse it is, it takes very little to make it better.
I did not change. In its grim situation, I see more opportunities in the United States than ever before. Hence, one can masturbate by reading Umair Haque or Jessica Wildfire, or can have real fun by following authors like myself, seeking satisfaction in finding the ways out from our mess.
