Hate and love are feelings. I find it meaningful that you list hate first.

Negative feelings are destructive. Not practical in improving things.

Love can make us blind to see reality.

In America, like everywhere else, certain things work well, some not so much, others do not work at all.

In my engineering work, feelings do not help make things better.

America needs more engineers.
