I agree with your opinion about Trump. But, by supporting Trump, are your family members guilty of his mischievous behavior? Angels are in heaven; here, we must deal with people that are not perfect. I doubt that your folks support Trump because they are a bunch of demoralized people. They doubt that polite politicians from another side would be better for the country than Trump. It does not say anything about Trump or your family members. It is the testimony against people you plan to vote for. It questions your judgment and knowledge of what the real problems of our country are and how we should fix them.

On Medium, there are barely any polemics (I wrote a few) or ongoing debates between writers. If you are interested, I would be inclined to write a polemic with your article, if you would follow with a response to it in the form of a separate text as well. Readers might like it.
