I am happy to congratulate Paul Constant for stirring an exciting debate about “Atlas Shrugged.” I see a great value in Ayn Rand’s work but accept that others do not. I consider it a case closed. In that tone, I wrote my comment almost four weeks ago. I received claps from several readers and a few thoughtful responses. More than 100 comments were posted to Paul’s article.

It means that “Atlas Shrugged” is still making the blood boil. In the discussion, I learned about a new book “Atlas Hugged” written in response to “Atlas Shrugged.” I bought it and will read it soon. Also, I believe that the best way to conduct a discussion is not by writing comments, but by writing polemics. Hence, I decided to write a polemic with Paul’s article. In that polemic, I will address as well important arguments presented in the responses to my comments by Erik Engheim and Nikos Papakonstantinou. I encourage other authors to write articles on this subject as well. Let us use Medium to learn more about something we care about.

Edited on July 30, 2021. I posted my polemic: https://virtualagora.us/how-i-fell-into-ayn-rands-snares-ab1d54b6022c
