I checked the examples of that writing. It is not creative; you spit more than you can swallow. An article worth reading requires a lot of reading first and, at minimum, some time for thinking.
From education and life experiences, one may have enough thoughts to write a book and several articles. But after that, they just recirculate the old staff endlessly. Thomas Friedman’s writing about immigration is an example I noticed: “The New York Times’ dance around the truth.”
Creativity is risky and can upset readers; hence, for editors, writing like yours is safer, but this is why print media are in decline. I explained that in the example of the Wall Street Journal: “It is editors' fault.”
I was fortunate that at the beginning of my writing, my mentor was the world’s best editor; “What did I learn from the world’s best editor?” I learned that “Writing is not about writing.”
