I dismissed as gibberish the earlier article by Abbey Heffer. Hence, I have to acknowledge that this time she did her homework. This essay is well written and has a coherent argument.
Abbey is still wrong. Which system is better in stimulating progress? Which one is better in facilitating human innovation? And most of all, which one is better is creating wealth? Socialism is better in redistributing wealth.
In human history, the fastest growth was always when the market forces dominated the economy. When people focus on wealth redistribution, eventually, there is nothing to redistribute.
It can take long decades, as the case of Argentina shows us. Small Scandinavian countries can afford socialistic policies because they are tiny tails of the worldwide economic driving forces. The worldwide economy would collapse if we had Denmark everywhere.
