First, where did you get your definition of conservatism? The best one I heard is from Jordan Peterson, but have no time now to seek where it was.

My approach is not in labeling people but by looking at what their objectives are. In this aspect, especially in the United States, a division on conservatives and liberals is irrelevant. It reflects a split within elites.
