I have a much better solution. The United States should switch to a metric system finally.

I moved from Poland to the United States in my middle 30s and adjusted to the imperial units with no problem. But thirty-some years later, I see even sharper the ridiculousness of not switching to metrics.

Fahrenheit was Dutch, but he was born in my native city of Gdańsk, where his Dutch parents lived for some time. I should have a personal sentiment, but no, the Swedish Celsius is much more logical.
