I have a tiny audience on Medium. My writings challenge dominating opinions, which readers find inconvenient. A few of my texts resonated. It means that even if a tiny minority of Medium readers like my writing style, it might be a meaningful crowd in absolute numbers.

Then politics come to play. Medium leaders do not give me any exposure. One of my articles was once on the top of the Medium Daily Digest. I suspect it happened by oversight. My income from that article was 254 times higher than my average revenue from all other texts. Should it mean that my other articles are 254 times worse? Or that the boosted article was not worth it?
