I have difficulties keeping up with all those new gurus. They claim wisdom because many misinformed and undereducated Americans follow their podcasts.

Before reading this article, I did not know that Sam Harris exists. The opening of this article sounded to me as a warning that I am falling behind and should catch with the wisdom offered by Sam Harris. After reading Matthew’s essay and checking what Google knows about Sam Harris, I concluded that it is good to know that Sam Harris exists; as one of those who have nothing new to say.
