I have no thoughts on this subject. I have facts. Most of my articles are “Chosen for Further Distribution.” Only one of them, from February of 2020, had meaningful reading and a noticeable income. But it was not because of being curated but due to being recommended to readers in the Medium Daily Digest. From my perspective, being listed there is the only way to get a broad audience. Interestingly, a few of my articles about Medium, which were not curated, had more readers than some that were curated.
