I might have seen the "entity bar." I might click on it when it was there. I do not recall where it was and what it looked like. I did not notice that it had disappeared.

The follow-up and subscription are against the very concept of Medium as an open publishing platform. Readers following 20 or fewer authors close themselves to an information bubble.

Following more than 200 authors is as good as not following anyone. The Medium algorithm decides which articles show up in the Medium Daily Digest. If Medium editors perceive as not worthy distribution articles presenting specific ideas, a reader will rarely, if ever, get those articles in the MDD emails.

The MDD makes sense only if the algorithm could recommend the best articles on the subjects one is interested in. But, if you asked me, I would not know how to set the algorithm to determine which article is good and which one is not. Only a person can do this. It could only be a highly qualified editor devoid of ideological prejudices.

Tony, this is your challenge.
