I remember a story I read in childhood about a capricious king who wanted to marry the wisest woman. After a lengthy elimination process, the final step was to answer the question: Where is the center of the world?

The winner stumped her foot, saying: Right here where I am.

We are the center of our universe. It is only up to us what we achieve. We deserve nothing; we owe others everything.
