I started my writing in the 1970s in Poland, and we did not aspire to change the world. We aspired to improve slightly our affairs.

However we paved the way to a major political movement in Poland, and the Soviet Union, which was due to fell for its own reasons, tripped over that. When I look back I see how certain my actions directly influenced some historical events. We changed the world.
