I think I am two lengths ahead of you in understanding how big money works. I touch on that subject in:

Yes, big-money people are the only ones who benefit from the war in Ukraine. Could we prevent it? Yes, by telling Putin firmly that we would fight along Ukraine if needed. I explained that in January 2022, “Should Americans be ready to die for Donbas?”

I bet that before the invasion, Putin got assurance from big-money people that they would mitigate any sanctions, as they did in 2014. They lied; they could not do it. They wanted a war. They got it. Now they hold all of us by our balls.

America or China cannot tell Ukrainians what to do. Even deprived of any help, which would be immoral, they will fight for their freedom. If not resolved, that conflict will spread worldwide. The sooner we end it, the less it will cost us. Russian aggression is illegal in the sense of international law. It is immoral. The longer the war lasts, the more money big financiers can squeeze from you and me. Our financial interest is in defeating Russia ASAP. Then the economy will get bust in rebuilding Ukraine and Russia.
