I try to read at least a few articles daily on Medium. As one can expect on the open platform, most of them are poor quality. But I find pearls as well. Sadly, it is more often by accident than from the Medium recommendations.

I post articles only when I believe they are among those pearls. I barely get any boost from Medium, so my earnings, except two texts, are close to none. The problem is that Medium has become a low-end tabloid. It does not promote good texts, and it attracts trivia readers.

As I explained, there is money in junk food too. If this is the Medium direction, good writers should accept low earnings. If they do not like it, they should not complain but leave.
