I was raised by the WWII generation. Their positivity was shaped during the dark six ears of war followed by the years of Stalinist regime in Poland. They still had the energy to resit. I wrote about in on Medium. In my youth I could not accept the Soviet dominance in Poland, and I did whatever was in my abilities to end it. It is a blissful feeling today, seeing that the Soviet Union is no more, and Poland is prospering.

We did what seemed impossible; ergo, everything is possible. If one has a will to do it.
