If governments had been around 65 millions years ago, they would have used taxpayer’s money to save the dinosaurs from extinction. This comment comes to mind when reading this text. But the governments have no money on their own. They need to take it from those who have.

I suspect that Aimee Delach does not worry much that her standard of living would decrease due to government spending on climate change that she so vividly advocates. She believes that the government would tax those who have much more that she does. She is wrong, with all that spending for countermeasures against global warming, billionaires will end up richer, but people as her and me would foot the bill.

In order to validate her argument Mr. Delach should tell us how much of her own money she is willing to give up for the struggle with the climate change. Without that it is a big baloney.

Obviously, all that spending will help climate as much as it would help dinosaurs. As people say in Poland, it is going with a hoe against the Sun: https://medium.com/@hak1010/with-a-hoe-against-the-sun-5de7b838c1fa.
