In one short question, you managed to make two false assumptions. I call it the lack of professionalism that Medium should avoid.

Persuasive writers can present their points without using profanities.

Medium has an open format; ergo, writers should be allowed to post whatever they want. But, for my $4.17 monthly membership fee, I expect Medium editors would not recommend articles where vulgar language is the strongest argument for the cause authors are presenting.

Before touching a keyboard, professional writers check the internet if their assumptions about someone’s moral values or preferred policies are accurate.
