Climate has constantly been changing. The pace of some changes might be increasing recently. Why it is going on is still an open question, at least for some, as I wrote in “Science and money in the climate change debate.” Some advocate for governments to spend all the money we have and all the money we can borrow to stop assumed human causes of global warming. I call it going “With a hoe against the Sun.”
When managing investment portfolios, one can reasonably know expected climate changes for decades ahead, but it is next to impossible to predict the politics around this issue.
