It is not about global warming or global cooling, it is about some people feeling anointed to find a reason to restrict freedom of other in the name of some lofty idea.

On the global warming, recently I found this wonderful lecture by the Nobel laureate in physics, Ivar Giaever, https://youtu.be/Dk60CUkf3Kw. He points out that the leading scientists consider global warming as incontrovertible, what is purely unscientific as in science everything can be questioned. Hence, in the current reality discussing climate change is as questioning dogma of Catholic Church.
