It is not true.

Humans did not invent capitalism. Capitalism emerged when people had more freedom in pursuing their personal goals. It was a natural occurrence; no one planned it.

Then, some did not like it and decided that it should be tamed and replaced. So, they invented socialism. It had been tried in the Soviet countries, in China, and many other places. Venezuela is one of the recent adopters.
