Jessica,
Before starting writing about health care 12 years ago, I did my homework. Read a lot of what others wrote. I even took a semester at the DePaul University on health care reform. Behind my few articles on Medium, there is a lot of work documented here: https://www.lifetermhealth.com/.
Unfortunately, the media can get more readers by entertaining them than by educating them. We have dysfunctional politics as a result of it. There is that hilarious undertone in your article as well. Our health is not a laughing matter. For this reason, I boldly called it as it is.
If this makes you “negatively predisposed” to my writing, it is your problem, not mine. But for god’s sake, read something before you write. There are many prolific writers on Medium who seem to write more than they read. Are you one of them?
Lastly, I use my real name, and my picture is of real me. You use a pen name, and Brokenfresnel is a pseudonym as well. I have reasons to believe that both are aliases of the same person.
