Let us assume that these alarming reports are accurate. If so, the next question is what we should do about it, if anything.

The article does not state clearly if human actions cause warming of oceans. Let us assume that it does. The next question is if burning fossil fuels could cause such a big impact. We have to consider the trigger effect. For example, a human can cause an avalanche, but there is no human power to stop it when it is already going.

We have to take into consideration the possibility that humans triggered some natural processes, which are now beyond our control. What to do if this is the case? I write about our options, including this one right here on Medium:
