Let us think logically what is the most efficient way of achieving degrowth. I doubt that it is realistic to expect that billions of people still living in poverty would ever give up their aspiration to get the same standard of living that the wealthy nations enjoy.

So the real problem is that we have too many people. So, to put planet over profit, we need a good worldwide nuclear war. Q.E.D.
