For the record, in 1980, when all experts on Soviet matters saw the collapse of the Soviet Union as unimaginable, I wrote a book (in Polish), in which I speculated about possible scenarios of the disintegration of the evil empire. Book reviewers considered that as irresponsible fantasy. Some questioned my sanity. Mine was the last laugh.
