The closest to Argentina you got is Chile. About 60 years ago, GDP per capita in Chile was half of that in Argentina. Since the American promotion of the free market in Chile, its economy has grown and is more stable than the Argentinian one. The GDP per capita for 2020 is 150% of that in Argentina. What is wrong with that?
