My high school literature teacher loved poetry. She could talk about it endlessly. Usually, a few minutes in her passionate lecture, she realized that our attention was elsewhere. Frustrated, she complained that talking to us about poetry is like throwing pearls in front of boars – cannot eat them, not interested.

I thought about it looking at the response to your article on Medium.
