No one in Europe wants a war with anyone, Russia in particular. Everyone wants to do business on equal terms.

Russia, or to be precise, Putin’s Russia, believes that there are spheres of its influence, where trade should not be free but should be subdued to the Russian imperial interests. And when countries like Ukraine try to be sovereign, Russia uses its military to take Crimea and stirs trouble in Donbas. And it is NATO’s fault that Ukraine is asking for protection. Give me a break.
