Regarding crediting pictures, you probably heard a German saying: Ordnung muss sein.

It applies as well to having clear protocols and procedures. In this aspect, the Medium leaders could learn a thing or two from what is perceived as the German thing.

When it comes to the MWC, my only objection is that I did not receive any confirmation that my submissions were received and accepted or rejected. For the record, I did not get any reward, as I expected. As I got exactly what I anticipated, I am satisfied with the outcome. Busy with other matters, I did not have the opportunity to read the rewarded articles.
