On second thought, I agree with Salim C that the boosted concept will be more of the same. Medium has been boosting articles by listing them in Medium Daily Digest (MDD). Being on that list means a boost; being on the top is a big boost.

I experienced that myself. I have been in Medium Partner Program (MPP) since its inception in 2018. During these almost five years, 71.49 % of all my income came from one article, which was once on the top of the MDD list. My other articles were barely on the MDD lists. My average income from all my other articles was 254 times lower than from that one that was boosted. Please let me know if they were 254 times worse. Or dare to tell me that the one boosted did not deserve it.

I write when I see that the prevailing voices in the political arena are misleading or erroneous. I face head-on our crucial existential problems. By definition, those are the most controversial issues. Be it the algorithm or a person, the lists on MDD testify that the Medium policy is to avoid any sincere discussions on our most antagonizing issues. It makes Medium irrelevant.

If you fix that, everything else will start working.
