Yes, we need laws. But, do we need the government to scrutinize and approve an application of every foreigner whom an American employer wants to hire? The government should check for criminal records, but it should have no say if I employ Mr. Jones from across the street or Mr. Gonzalez from the other side of the Rio Grande. My point is that the government overstepped its powers, which is the source of our immigration problems.
