Racism is not about racism. It is about us. I grew up in a racially monolithic society, whites only. Still, some had a prejudice against others. Some did not like bold guys, some redheads, some short guys, others the tall ones. To my surprise, I got a lot of harassment and bullying just because of wearing glasses. In the perception of some, people with glasses read more, so they need to be hammered down before their start showing their smarts.
We do not need laws against racism. We need color-blind laws giving everyone equal rights to prosper and equal protection from those who hate others for whatever reason.
