Referring to the “science” you bring up. Intelligence is not in knowing many words. It is in one’s ability to use language for communication. Intelligent people tend to be more creative in doing so. Less intelligent people tend to use more keywords, often vulgar, to accent their emotions.

I am old enough to see examples of vulgar words entering the mainstream. Let us agree that I am backward in accepting some changes.

Also, I read a few books about human behavior. There are more precise terms that describe the meanings as "jerk" or their more offensive synonyms.
