Sadly, I would agree with Max. Everywhere, some people see resolving their problems by hating others. I met people hating me because of my looks, the glasses I wear, the smarts I occasionally show, or for being Polish. Ergo, everywhere where Jews live, there will be some hating them. Did you hear about the harassment of people with crossed eyes? There are more of us than Jews.
