Sadly, the author sees the current war in Gaza through the eyes of the official Israeli propaganda. They have some valid points. The pivotal is to eliminate a chance for October 7, 2024, to reoccur.
Unfortunately, the author buys their focus on what happened, not why it happened.
In my article “When genocide seems to be the only rational option,” I refuted the author’s argument that it is not about genocide.
It is even worse; the more decisive the Israeli military is today, the more likely the repetition of the Holocaust. The current leadership of Israel cannot even contemplate the thought that it could happen. It means, they are not preparing for that possibility.
In my recent article, I suggest a peaceful solution: “Can Jews and Palestinians stop killing each other?"
It is not perfect, but if anyone knows a better one, please speak out.
