What is the optimal balance between the accumulated wealth of the richest and the rest of us?

To stimulate progress some individuals need an abundance of cash. Collective bodies cannot lead inventions. But too much of that wealth concentration, makes the masses too poor to buy whatever the rich might want to sell.

If you wrote about that in one of your earlier articles, please provide a link. I read several of them, but do not recall you touching this subject.
