Let us take history as an example. Since my early teens, and it was a long time ago, I read everything my eyes can lay on. And I am interested in all curiosities. There is a whole section on Medium covering this topic. I found many interesting articles worth reading. But, quite a few of them covered subjects that I already know. I found basic factual inaccuracies and shallow sensationalism. I do not have time to read ten articles with misinformation to find one worth my time. I expect that editors recommending history articles know about the subject at least as much as I do. Is it too much to ask?

I do not share your opinion that on issues as racism, feminism, and trans issues, “the writing itself is solid and the ideas are challenging.” I see the dominance of canvassing of one-sided views. I usually do not write about these subjects. But I could not stand some nonsense and wrote about racism recently. How many more articles representing a similar point of view editors recommended to you?
