My intentions were much more humble than you give me credit. I asked if, within the existing Medium format, with the society we have, can we get from Medium more than we are getting. I believe we can, and I shared my suggestions.

I checked your manifesto; it is long. But I am a guilty one as well. My manifesto on Medium is almost twice as long as yours. To my surprise, it has pretty good reading. It confirms my supposition that Medium readers deserve better than Medium editors recommend to them.
