I state that Covid might eliminate soldiers, which does not equal killing. A soldier with high fewer and debilitating chills, even for a few days, is a burden for an occupying military unit, where practically every resident is a potential enemy.

It is unlikely a problem for a short-term military operation. Any major intervention in Ukraine might turn into a lengthy engagement.
