That accusation does not sound nice. It implies that I mindlessly spread some ideologically biased views. I took a closer look at that case and arrived at conclusions, as I stated in my article. My personal experience supports it. I know four individuals from families of modest means who graduated from college with no debt. It took some creativity to accomplish that.

Also, you do not sound convincing that “Disneyfication of society” or “corporatization of higher education” are the culprits. Those are weaknesses of human nature and are always present. But they flourish when the easy money becomes available.
