The analogy to the World War II is good to the extent that it was caused by the stupidity of humankind in responding to the real problems the world was facing at that time. Now we face different problems, and my fear is that the stupidity of the humankind in addressing these problems can bring us a worldwide catastrophe comparable to the WW II. My antidote is here:
